Qual e la differenza tra scarico cat-back e downpipe?

Il cat-back sostituisce la sezione di scarico dal catalizzatore in poi (silenziatore intermedio e terminale), senza modificare le emissioni. Il downpipe sostituisce il collettore turbo-catalizzatore, eliminando o bypassando il catalizzatore originale: aumenta sensibilmente la potenza ma puo non essere omologato per strada.

Lo scarico sportivo richiede la revisione del veicolo?

Gli scarichi omologati con marcatura CE o ECE non richiedono revisione. Gli scarichi racing non omologati possono creare problemi al collaudo. Noi indichiamo sempre nelle schede prodotto se lo scarico e omologato per uso stradale in Italia.

Che materiali sono usati negli scarichi sportivi di qualita?

L acciaio inox 304 e il materiale standard per rapporto qualita-prezzo. Il titanio riduce ulteriormente il peso (20-30% vs inox) ma ha costi molto piu alti. Milltek, Friedrich Motorsport e BCS Automotive usano acciaio inox di alta qualita con saldature TIG per la massima durata.
